Topsail Tower metal print by Mike McGlothlen. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. Artist's Description
Topsail Tower is one of several concert tower that remains on Topsail Island. These towers were part of the mid 1940s Operation Bumblebee. The project was a US Navy effort to develop surface to air missiles.

About Mike McGlothlen
Over the years Mike has dabbled in painting, sculpting & wood working as well as photography. Mike's turning point in his artistic abilities came when he learned how to use the dreaded computer in the mid 80s, then he could combine his love for art with his photographs. Mike's work has won numerous awards as well as being shown all over the country in galleries and museums. Now after 25 years of Commercial Photography in the High Point area, Mike now creates art full time, living just outside of Dunn North Carolina. "Welcome to the world as I see it.
