Topsail Island Bridge takes you from the mainland to Topsail Island across the Intracoastal Waterway. This wonderful old swing bridge, built in the 1950s, is due to be replaced by a new 65 foot tall bridge that will should be completed by 2017. I shot this image about 25 minutes after the sunset.
Over the years Mike has dabbled in painting, sculpting & wood working as well as photography. Mike's turning point in his artistic abilities came when he learned how to use the dreaded computer in the mid 80s, then he could combine his love for art with his photographs. Mike's work has won numerous awards as well as being shown all over the country in galleries and museums. Now after 25 years of Commercial Photography in the High Point area, Mike now creates art full time, living just outside of Dunn North Carolina. "Welcome to the world as I see it.
