Time Travelers metal print by Mike McGlothlen. Bring your artwork to life with the stylish lines and added depth of a metal print. Your image gets printed directly onto a sheet of 1/16" thick aluminum. The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

Artist's Description
Time Travelers was my first digital image. Created on an old mac with photoshop 3. It had over 150 layers, using scans from 40 or 50 transparencies. I had to start over so many times because of crashes. This forced me to learn many lessons, like, SAVE, SAVE, SAVE nomater how long it took. Time Travelers won First place in Mixed Media at The Moring Gallery in Asheboro, NC.
The Time Series is an ongoing series of images created with a theme of time. This series has over 30 images so far and has images in many different shapes. Please take time to have a look at The Time Series Gallery.

About Mike McGlothlen
Over the years Mike has dabbled in painting, sculpting & wood working as well as photography. Mike's turning point in his artistic abilities came when he learned how to use the dreaded computer in the mid 80s, then he could combine his love for art with his photographs. Mike's work has won numerous awards as well as being shown all over the country in galleries and museums. Now after 25 years of Commercial Photography in the High Point area, Mike now creates art full time, living just outside of Dunn North Carolina. "Welcome to the world as I see it. WOW this is very cool!! Congrats on your 1st place! I just started to dabble in surreal images and I know about the layers! yikes!! I am trying to teach myself through tutorials. It is TIME consuming for sure! I love your work!! The titles are awesome too. Look forward to seeing more.
