About Mike McGlothlen
Over the years Mike has dabbled in painting, sculpting & wood working as well as photography. Mike's turning point in his artistic abilities came when he learned how to use the dreaded computer in the mid 80s, then he could combine his love for art with his photographs. Mike's work has won numerous awards as well as being shown all over the country in galleries and museums. Now after 25 years of Commercial Photography in the High Point area, Mike now creates art full time, living just outside of Dunn North Carolina. "Welcome to the world as I see it. To smile, be happy and laugh as much as possible, that's what life should be about. I hope this shows through my work and makes you feel the same way." Mike

What an interesting photo...I have researched Geroge Westinghouse, Jr. inventor of the airbrake... and remember a turntable in our town (his town during his formative years). There is just something about the roots of railroading!!! This photo is quite intriguing even if one doesn't know what it is or what it is for! Nice.
