This image was shot at The N.C. Transportation Museum is located in Spencer, NC on the site of what was once Southern Railway Company's largest steam locomotive servicing facility. Seaboard Air Line #544 is a 2-10-0 Decapod locomotive and was built in 1918 by the American Locomotive Company.

Over the years Mike has dabbled in painting, sculpting & wood working as well as photography. Mike's turning point in his artistic abilities came when he learned how to use the dreaded computer in the mid 80s, then he could combine his love for art with his photographs. Mike's work has won numerous awards as well as being shown all over the country in galleries and museums. Now after 25 years of Commercial Photography in the High Point area, Mike now creates art full time, living just outside of Dunn North Carolina. "Welcome to the world as I see it. To smile, be happy and laugh as much as possible, that's what life should be about. I hope this shows through my work and makes you feel the same way." Mike
