Description
A couple of months ago Gary and I got together a group of the BIG Heads for a photography tour of the American Southwest. What a great time we had visiting places like the world Famous Route 66, Death Valley, Zion National Park,
Bryce Canyon and Arches National park to name a few. Each day we would all pile into our rented Toyota Corolla. We were a little cramped and from time to time tempers did flare, but we made the best of it. At each stop for photography we would give the guys some ideas & guidelines then arm them with cameras
and turn them loose. This gave Gary and me some time to do our own thing along the way. We would start each evening with a BS session around the camp fire. We heard some amazing stories and learned a lot about the early days of
silent and talking films. The we would gather for Gary and me to go over each persons work and make suggestions to help them become better photographers. Normally this went over pretty well, but sometimes it lead to us getting the silent treatment for 30 or 40 minutes at a time and in one case we got a strong suggestion of what we could do with that horseshoe canyon image, if you know what I mean. All in all the boys became right decent photographer in just two weeks with us. Gary and I are already accepting applications
for the 2013 Photo Tour of the American Southwest, so don't wait long
if you are interested.
