Artist's Description

Our two Corgis, Otis and Trixie, are missing again for a few days now and I received this postcard in the mail.
Hey Mom & Dad,
It was time for us to hit the open road again, so we borrowed the van and picked up Darby, (Otis' brother), Bandit, (Otis' father), Mason, ( a second cousin English Bulldog) and Baxter,( a first cousin Boston Terrier) for another short road trip. We are on our way to the worlds largest fire hydrant, that is if we ever stop, stopping at every small fire hydrant along the way. I am driving safely with my defensive driving skills and should be home in a few days.
Love Otis, Trixie & the rest of the gang.

About Mike McGlothlen

Mike McGlothlen

Over the years Mike has dabbled in painting, sculpting & wood working as well as photography. Mike's turning point in his artistic abilities came when he learned how to use the dreaded computer in the mid 80s, then he could combine his love for art with his photographs. Mike's work has won numerous awards as well as being shown all over the country in galleries and museums. Now after 25 years of Commercial Photography in the High Point area, Mike now creates art full time, living just outside of Dunn North Carolina. "Welcome to the world as I see it. To smile, be happy and laugh as much as possible, that's what life should be about. I hope this shows through my work and makes you feel the same way." Mike
